Comfort Keepers has been serving seniors and their families in the Beverly Hills area since 2005. We help seniors maintain their independence, while living happy and healthy lives. Since our foundation over 10 years ago, we have expanded to provide care in many cities throughout Los Angeles County, including the Los Angeles neighborhood of Westwood.
Westwood is a well-known neighborhood within the Westside region of Los Angeles. It is, perhaps, best known for being the home of UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles). The neighborhood was developed starting in 1919, with UCLA being built shortly after. Locals and visitors, alike, come to Westwood to shop at Westwood Village.
Westwood Village, which opened up in 1929, is a commercial and shopping center in Westwood. It was originally built in a Mediterranean theme, containing decorative Spanish tiles, clay tile roofs, and a number of patios and courtyards. Notable buildings that were completed in the village’s early years include the Fox Theater, the Janss Dome, the Ralphs Market Building, and the Bruin Theater. All four of these are considered Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monuments.
Our caregivers encourage their patients to stay active and healthy, so that they can live happier and longer lives. Many of our patients enjoy attending activities and events at the Westwood Recreation Center. The park features a community center as well as open spaces for walking, picnicking, or playing tennis.
At Comfort Keepers, your loved ones receive a customized care plan that is geared around their interests and activities. Our caregivers love getting to know their patients and providing the highest quality of care. The caregivers at Comfort Keepers are dedicated to helping improve the lives of seniors and their families in Westwood. Let us help keep your loved ones safe and cared for, while giving you some much-needed peace of mind.
