Some caregivers have trouble getting their loved ones to eat because they don’t have as much of an appetite as they use to. Your loved one could have trouble with their diet because of emotions as well. If they spend a lot of time alone or have an illness, they could be depressed or lonely. This could lead to a lack of interest in eating. But could also cause some seniors to eat more and gain weight.
